This was a very difficult call since the trails were in perfect condition on Saturday morning four hours before the start. The weathermen were calling for less than a quarter inch of rain. It should have been good. We got MUCH more rain than they expected! <br /><br />Now the good news, the trails will be fine. We have already began the repair work. I think you will be quite surprised at how good the trails look after the race. We have a VERY dedicated group of volunteers that are going to have the trails back to their pristine condition very quickly.<br /><br />I do appreciate your concern.
